Resumen
El presente trabajo representa un estudio, a propósito de los 160 años de vigencia de la actual Constitución, sobre el federalismo argentino: historia, evolución, y retos pendientes desde la última reforma de 1994. Se pone un especial énfasis en la distribución de competencias entre la Federación y las Provincias y la protección de los Derechos Fundamentales en ambos niveles de gobierno, en comparación con lo que ocurre en otros Estados Federales de Latinoamérica.

Abstract
This essay is a study, as consequence of the 160th anniversary of Argentine Constitution, on argentine federalism: History, evolution, and challenges unresolved since the last Constitution reform in 1994. It places special emphasis on the distribution of powers between the Federation and the Provinces and the protection of Fundamental Rights at both levels of government, compared to what happens in other Federal States of Latin America.
