Resumen
El texto vigente de la Ley de Expropiación Forzosa regula el procedimiento especial para la expropiación de bienes de valor artístico e histórico, pero la determinación de las causas que justifican el ejercicio de la potestad figura en la legislación de patrimonio cultural, que atribuye a la Administración competente la función de concretarlas en cada caso. El presente estudio analiza cuáles son en la actualidad, tanto en la Ley del Patrimonio Histórico Español de 1985 como en las leyes autonómicas.

Abstract
The current text of the Expropriation Act regulates the special procedure for the expropriation of goods of artistic and historical value, but the determination of the causes that justify the exercise of power is contained in the cultural heritage legislation, which is attributed to the Administration competent to specify them in each case. The present study analyzes what are currently such causes of expropriation, both in the Spanish Historical Heritage Act of 1985 and in the regional law.
