Resumen
La motivación de las resoluciones judiciales es una exigencia constitucional que forma parte del derecho a la tutela judicial efectiva. Este deber, inherente al ejercicio de la función jurisdiccional, es más riguroso cuando están implicados los menores de edad. Los tribunales deben realizar un mayor esfuerzo argumentativo porque el interés superior del menor exige un canon reforzado de motivación que está sujeto a control de constitucionalidad a través del recurso de amparo. En los últimos años, el Tribunal Constitucional ha consolidado una importante doctrina sobre la exigencia de motivación reforzada cuando está en juego el interés del menor. El propósito de este trabajo es analizar los aspectos esenciales de esta doctrina mediante el estudio pormenorizado de las sentencias más relevantes.

Abstract
The reasoning behind judicial decisions is a constitutional requirement that forms part of the right to effective judicial protection. This duty, inherent in the exercise of judicial power, is more rigorous when minors are involved. The courts must make a greater effort to provide reasoning because the best interests of the child require a higher standard of reasoning that is subject to constitutional review through the remedy of amparo. In recent years, the Constitutional Court has consolidated an important doctrine on the requirement for reinforced reasoning when the interests of minors are at stake. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the essential aspects of this doctrine through a detailed study of the most relevant judgments.
