One of the many tasks that the Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales carries out is the analysis of the legal, social and political situation on both a national and international level, in particular focusing on the legal and political situation in Ibero-American countries.
Through the Sub-directorate for Studies and Research, the CEPC promotes studies, thought and research of subjects that are relevant to the character and functions of political systems from a legal and political perspective.
These ideas are then presented through various different means, including conferences organised within the framework of two core themes: The era of Politics and Looking towards Latin America, the Garcia Pelayo Research Programme, its Research Seminars, and various research prizes both within the CEPC and in partnership with other institutions.
