Resumen
En este artículo se analiza la labor desarrollada en los talleres de costura por la organización femenina de Mujeres al Servicio de España. A partir de la crítica de las bases teóricas proporcionadas por los estudiosos de la agencia y la acción colectiva, y utilizando como fuentes la prensa y diversa documentación procedente de archivos privados y militares, se analizan los actores, agentes y marcos de captación de las primeras inscritas, el proceso de expansión de los talleres y las motivaciones de los diferentes grupos de afiliadas. Se concluye destacando la relativa capacidad de agencia de estas mujeres y su importante papel en cuanto a la generación de activos materiales y simbólicos de gran importancia en el contexto de la Guerra Civil, en particular en lo relativo a su rol como agentes de socialización y su contribución al reforzamiento de las identidades colectivas de los sublevados y a la reafirmación del paradigma de mujer defendido por estos.

Abstract
This article analyses the work carried out in the sewing workshops by the women’s organisation Mujeres al Servicio de España. The actors, agents and frameworks of recruitment of the first registrants, the process of expansion of the workshops and the motivations of the different groups of affiliates are examined. To do this, we start by reviewing the theoretical foundations provided by the agency’s specialists and the scholars of collective action and we use the press and documentation from private and military archives as sources. It concludes by highlighting these women’s relative capacity for agency and their important role in generating material and symbolic assets of great importance in the context of the civil war. Above all, with regard to their role as agents of socialization and their contribution to strengthening the collective identities of the rebels and to the reaffirmation of the paradigm of women defended by them.
